History of Theremin |
 |
The oldest electronic musical instrument (single sound musical instrument)
Theremin in the world was invented by physicist Leon Theremin of Russia
in 1920.
The feature of Theremin performs by motion of the both hands which did
not carry out touching a musical instrument directly, but were put on space.
The feeble electromagnetic field is formed in the circumference of two
antennas with which the musical instrument was equipped, and change of
interference, sound quantity, and volume is drawn for an electromagnetic
field by operation which brings close or keeps away a hand.
If a hand is held up to an antenna, a sound called "WeeeN", and
"HyuweeN" will be played. The sound by the vibrato rendition
by fine vibration of a right hand is what that also resembled the female
chorus also at the sound of a cello is very humane and warm.
When this electronic musical instrument Theremin appeared, the engineers
who inherited the intention will make it evolve one after another, and
a new musical instrument will be produced.
